Lake County Fair Parade
July 28, 2026 Great day at the Parade. Lots of friends, family and colleagues helping out. Thanks to Jim Ulle for the car and driving. Family Sue, Martin and Marcia. Dem friends Robert, Susan, Ron, Marilyn and Janie. And to Lisa Lewins for the pre-parade gathering. And finally we were so happy that Maria could join us. Now back to the Fair for some healthy food and a milk shake.
More Yellow Chair Tours
July 31, 2026 Next Yellow Chair visit this time at Lake Erie College. The chairs were a little hard to find as they were in the beautiful meadow behind the main. With new dorms in downtown Painesville LEC is really enhancing the livability in the County.

July 27, 2026 Another Yellow Chair evening. Saw Kiss Me Kate at the Rabbit Run theater. Of course had to have a Dilly Bar at intermission.
Democratic Headquarters Grand Opening

Meet and Greet in Madison
July 12, 2026 Thank you to Cris Knox for opening her Madison home so that Lisa Lewins, Maria Jukic and I could talk with folks from the eastern part of the county. We all met enthusiastic people who want to see change in Lake County. The puppy is named Darwin.

Party in the Park
July 19, 2026 Had a great time at Party in the Park! Met and talked with a number voters and volunteers. It is shaping up to be a great campaign season.
Kirtland Gazebo
July 12, 2026 It’s been a great Lake County week. First at the Kirtland Gazebo Thursday evening, then spending time in our original stomping grounds in Wickliffe and finally yesterday at Fairport for the Reggae Fest and the beach. Especially fun finding the Yellow Chairs from Tour Lake County. 2 down 21 to go.

May 31, 2026 Great event in Wickliffe today with our next Governor Amy Acton and Lt. Gov. Dave Pepper. We are turning Lake County Blue this year.
Kirtland Strawberry Festival Parade
June 19, 2026 Had a great time Friday evening at the Kirtland Strawberry Festival Parade. We had a great group of supporters carrying the banner, handing out our cards and tossing candy. Also got a lot of encouragement from those lining the parade route.
Lake County Juneteenth Celebration
June 20, 2026 Saturday morning spent some time in Painesville at the Juneteenth celebration working the tent with our Democratic colleagues.
Marous Rib Burn Off
May 16, 2026 In Willoughby at the Marous Rib Burn Off. Had some good ribs, a cupcake from Sweet Geek and a cooling lemonade from the Kiwanis truck. Get out and enjoy the day in Lake County.

May 27, 2026 I met many great people at our kick-off reception last night who are interested in transparent government with trustworthy people working to make Lake County more liveable. There is much more to come!
Riverside Career Tech Center
May 10, 2026 Had a great time at Riverside last week during the ribbon cutting for the new Career Technical Experience addition. Great work by Melissa Mlakar in getting the grant to fund the work and expertly cutting the ribbon.
Candidate Meet-Up
May 13, 2026 Had a great time last night at the Democratic dinner meeting future State Auditor Annette Blackwell and future Lt. Gov. David Pepper. What dynamic and inspirational speakers. Let’s turn Lake County Blue and help them achieve those offices.

April 4, 2026 Hi folks, we had a great session in Mentor on Saturday. Now we have this session on Saturday. It’s another opportunity to hear me plus those that are running in the primary. Hope to see you there.
Candidate Forum
April 11, 2026 Another great audience interested in candidates’ policies and positions this past Saturday at Lakeland. I was there with my proposals for a more livable Lake County, and would appreciate your support in my run for Lake County Commissioner.
Lake County Juneteenth Celebration
April 26, 2026 This wonderful cart was waiting for us volunteers as we came into the Meals on Wheels depot at Deepwood. It was put together by the Council on Aging folks with the help of the Development Disabilities students. It’s disappointing that there are some who want to take away the funding for both of these needed organizations.
