Meet the Candidates
April 4, 2026: There was a great and enthusiastic audience last Saturday for a Meet the Candidates event at the Mentor Beach Park. Tom and other candidates were there to answer your questions and here comments about the issues.
Candidate Forum
April 11, 2026: Another great audience at the gathering last Saturday, at Lakeland Community College. Many of our candidates were there to explain their positions and policies.
Meals on Wheels
April 26, 2026 This wonderful cart was waiting for us volunteers as we came into the Meals on Wheels depot at Deepwood. It was put together by the Council on Aging folks with the help of the Development Disabilities students.
It’s disappointing that there are some who want to take away the funding for both of these needed organizations.
Ribbon Cutting
May 10, 2026: Had a great time at Riverside last week during the ribbon cutting for the new Career Technical Experience addition. Great work by Melissa Mlakar in getting the grant donation to fund the work and expertly cutting the ribbon.
Democratic Dinner
May 13, 2026 Had a great time last night at the Democratic dinner, and met future State Auditor Annette Blackwell and future Lt. Governor David Pepper. What dynamic and inspirational speakers. Let’s turn Lake County blue and help them achieve those offices.
We the People
May 16, 2026 Had fun this morning first in Mentor at the We the People Constitution signing event in Mentor.
Marous Rib Burn Off
May 16, 2026 In Willoughby at the Marous Rib Burn Off. Had some good ribs, a cupcake from Sweet Geek and a cooling lemonade from the Kiwanis truck. Get out and enjoy the day in Lake County.
Heritage Tree Planting
May 21, 2026 Look who I ran into at the Heritage Tree Planting in Painesville. Nobody does it like Arlene!
Kick-off Celebration
May 27, 2026 I met many great people at our kick-off reception last night who are interested in transparent government with trustworthy people working to make Lake County more liveable. There is much more to come!
